Trader Joe's Sipping Chocolate

I love chocolate. I love history. And this little product combines both in a delicious way. Sipping chocolate has a long history, but deserves top beverage billing today, too. This stuff is thicker and richer than regular hot chocolate. It's the viscosity of this warm elixer that makes me want to just run a bathtub full of it. I first had sipping chocolate at Kakawa Chocolate House in Santa Fe. They served it in little shot mugs, which were perfect portions considering how rich this stuff is. The Trader Joe's version includes instructions for making half-cup servings. Cost: less than $5
